I need to pick a movie to write about for my psychology paper. It can be any movie in the world. I just need to be able to talk about certain psychological aspects within the movie.

Paranoid Park. It’s about a teenager who accdintally kills someone and how he copes with the burden of guilt.

If you want to write about Paranoid Personality Disorder watch “The Caine Mutiny” and talk about the captain who is ‘relieved’ of duty b/c he is suffering from it. Or, if you want to talk about Borderline Personality Disorder watch “Girl, Interrupted” and talk about the main character.

Mona Lisa smile is the perfect movie for that (and you can get it at any movie store – i found it at target too)
it’s about life in the 50’s (a women’s college in the U.S.) and the roles that women and men had and the effect that a professor had in changing some of the girls’ beliefs. this is the time when women were expected to be dutiful housewives. you can talk about how the culture influences their behavior.
it is very easy to follow and would make for a good paper

yes donnie darko is a very good movie.
but for a paper one less about supernatural.

Dirty dancing becuz it has normal real life situations and behaviors and its a well knowned movie it really has a lot of life in it and emotions from lots of different points and personallitys from every angle.
