What Older Movie Has Alligators That Live In The House In The Bathtubs And Pool And Such?

The movie is from back in the Pollyanna, Doris Day, and Carey Grant days. It has this blonde guy that talks to the camera (I think) and this scientist, I guess he is, he works for has alligators (maybe crocodiles) that live in the house with them. I don’t know much else, but it’s an older movie.

    The Happiest Millionaire (1967)
starring Fred MacMurray, Greer Garson (final film), Tommy Steele, Lesley Ann Warren, John Davidson, Eddie Hodges, Geraldine Page, Gladys Cooper
    IMDb synopsis:
A happy and unbelievably lucky young Irish immigrant, John Lawless, lands a job as the butler of an unconventional millionaire, Biddle. His daughter, Cordelia Drexel Biddle, tires of the unusual antics of her father–especially since the nice young men around town all fear him. Wouldn’t you fear a father-in-law that KEEPS ALLIGATORS FOR PETS and teaches boxing at his daily Bible classes? Cordelia decides to run off to boarding school and promptly finds the man of her dreams. Unfortunately, his family doesn’t approve of Biddle’s outrageous antics, either. A Disney musical punctuated by snappy songs and an energetic debut by Tommy Steele. This is reportedly one of the final live-action films Walt Disney personally oversaw.
    TRIVIA courtesy of IMDb forum:
The alligators are in fact real. Originally they used audio animatronic aligators (like on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland–only more complex). Walt saw the test footage with the robotic reptiles and deemed them “too phony”. And so, the real thing was used.

In this film, John (Tommy Steele) does speak frequently to the camera/audience and narrates some of the goings-on, if I can trust my memory. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the movie, but I still recall a number of the songs, including “Fortuosity”, which was written especially for Steele. I became a fan of his through “Half a Sixpence” and “Finian’s Rainbow”, but he also is quite good in a very obscure film titled “Where’s Jack?”.
