I was thinking about those 80s movies with the crazy cop chases, and all those cars getting destroyed, and wondered in what movie has the most cars been destroyed in? I’m thinking maybe the original gone in 60 seconds or the blues brothers.

Blues Brothers 2000. They crashed the most cars on purpose just to hold the title.

The first gone in 60 seconds held the record at the time it was made, but I do not know if it was surpassed.

I thinks it’s a toss up between the Blues Brothers and Beverly Hills Cop….the first one. In the opening scene there is just mass mayhem of cars being destroyed everywhere.

The most cop cars wrecked was in the Blues Brothers. But I seem to remember a movie that was a dramatization of a california highway pile up that involved at least 60 cars but can’t remember the name of it.
