ok i know its a movie based on a fairytale but there has to be some truth to something. kings names, regions, the conflict with spain what in this movie (if anything) can be considered accurate?
i have to write a short review for an ap class and there isn’t much info online.

I would presume it has no historical accuracy whatsoever. The screenwriter merely lent it a real setting.
