What Is The Name Of A Movie About A Kid Who Gets Cancer And Goes To California With His Friends?

It is possibly a late 80s early 90s movie. This kid gets cancer and his two buddies find out and they go on a trip to california. On their way they meet this red headed chick who goes with them. And at the end they watch this video that the kid with cancer left for them to watch after he died. I need to know the name!

i agree with darcie, try going to a movie store or some place where there is a lot of movies haha
people working in movie stores usually have a wide knowlage of movies/cds, some even have specialised subjects!
