Its not that old - it came out in 1980. Also, the woman isn't Audrey Hepburn - its Jane Seymour. He sees a picture of a woman (Seymour) and is instantly drawn to it. But its not like the portrait comes to life - it has more to do with time traveling - its kind of a complicated story.
