What Is The Movie Where A Mentally Ill Man Shoots Himself In A Barn?

I have been trying to remember what the name of the movie is where one of the main characters (suffering from a mental illness) shoots himself in the climax scene. He thinks he is shooting someone else when he is actually shooting himself. I think it took place in a barn or some sort of structure like that and there was a woman present in this scene as well. The mentally ill man may have been some sort of farm hand or helper too. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Perhaps I’m not remembering the ending clearly, as it’s been about a year since I’ve seen it. I recall a woman arguing with him, trying to convince him that HE is the killer and that there is no other person there. I recall that they are in a warehouse, and you mentioned a barn. So, I might have struck out on this one.
