I heard there were a few scenes in the movie Hounddog where young actress Dakota Fanning’s character is raped and is even seen nude. Is this true?

She is raped, but not naked. There are a lot of abusive scenes in the movie, it’s quite harrowing to watch, but it’s a great movie, just not for the kids. Dakota’s performance is incredible.

The movie was only controversial to the religious right. The real reason the movie bombed was that it was long and boring with little or no character development. The characters were unpleasant and there was never any explanation of why the characters behaved the way they did.
The rape scene was more inferred than real though some people had issues with the way the director filmed it. Dakota is show seemly naked from the shoulder up in one scene where she was actually wearing a skin coloured body suit.
The movie is a perfect example of how misinformed people can generate interest in a film when if they had left it alone it would have died a natural death simply because it was a bad film.

no film would show a young actress under 18 nude. its not true the film was good but the problem with it was some of the dialogue and acting by the nobody actors were terrible also the story was a bit depressing and had a few plot holes….thank god for david morse, dakota, robin wright penn, and piper laurie for saving this film.

No, she is not shown nude.
Their is one strong sex/rape scene, only her panties are shown briefly.
She yells while he rapes her hard, it is pretty graphic.
The movie shows her being talked like crap and being abused.

no they dont show her body she gets raped and just show her face reacting to being raped and the trauma being raped
