I am looking for a movie that is not as predictable like most romantic movies. I am not saying I hate happy endings, but I want to see a movie that is very good but not as predictable like most sappy movies. I want to see something with some intrigue and suspense, the ending is not something you saw coming? Any suggestions?

try The Time Tavelers Wife. its a great book and im going to see the movie this weekend and i heard that it got really good reviews
How about flyboys? This is a movie based on WW1 setting and true story and its both action and with pretty unusual romance whereby the lead actor (as an American pilot) get to know a French girl during one of his accident while teaching a young flier. later when he heard the Germans had occupied her town, he quickly hopped onto his plane to rescue her. this movie is about 3 hours long.
The Notebook kept me glued to the screen. Romantic, cute, but with twists I didn’t see coming. The ending really wasn’t what I was expecting, either.

Definitely not your typical romance movie but it is my all time favorite one!
