I know Film Star and Empire are good but they are in the UK and a subscription would be too high. Any good movie magazines published in the US? I don’t want celebrity gossip magazines.

I’ve never heard of any real movie magazines, except for Fangoria for horror movies.
“Entertainment Weekly’ is the only magazine I subscribe to. It covers movies, music, TV, games (pc & console), books and more. It is not fluff (though there is some humor blurbs) but has great reviews, interviews, etc. A few times of years it has a special double issue ‘Movie Preview Issue’ (like summer, winter arrivals). A must for any entertainment junkie. And you can get some great deals on it if you look around, like at one point I got 52 issues for $5! (comes out weekly, or when double issue, bi-weekly)
‘Interview’ is ok, but is more focused on the actors then the movie. We used to have ‘Premiere’, but it looks like they are out of print and only have a website now.
