Hi! I have 2 questions, what type of file format does a movie maker projerct have to be, and how do i turn it into one so i can put it on youtube?

do you mean what file format it has to be in to put it on youtube? well when you save it, it’s in .MSWMM format. you cant upload that. so what you do is open movie maker, then open the project you want to upload. when it’s opened, you’ll see on the left side under the category “finish movie” there is a link that says “save to my computer”. click that, then name your project (then click next), decide if you want it in the best possible quality (then click next again), and you wait for it to be saved. then it will be in .WMV format. when you go to upload the video on youtube, click that file and it will be uploaded.
SAVE MOVIE FILE instead of SAVE PROJECT AS. =P It will then ask you where you want to save it. Save it to your computer.
Saving it as a movie file allows the video to actually be played in Windows Media Player, VLC player, etc.
Saving it as a project only keeps the video in Windows Movie Maker.
Once you save it, it’s automatically converted to the file that YouTube allows! =) That’s it!
If you want to get high quality video ,u can save the video as avi video on windows movie maker, then convert the avi video to FLV with E.M. Youtube video download tool.
then upload it to youtube.

well depends on what program you ae using. you probably want it to be mp4. that works. i suggest creating it on your movie making software and then send it to itunes. upload it from there. that will take care of the format.
any video format, not DVD. you can upload it and they will convert it for you!
