What Does A Movie Look Like In 3d At A Movie Theater?

Does the stuff look like its coming out of the screen? I have never been to a 3d movie and im wondering if a 3d movie looks awesome? Does the 3d parts actually come out of the screen when your wearing those glasses?

If you use the screen as a guide some things look like they are behind the screen while others things look like they are in front of the screen. They can control how close things seem to come at your face. In the movie bolt there really wasn’t to much of in your face scenes but you could tell it was in 3d. but im sure in my bloody valentine they do the in your face thing quite often. In those scenes even if you are towards the back of the theater things look like they are above the person one or two rows in front of you.

yeah, you get these special kinda glasses and it makes the image look like its coming out of the screen, pretty cool!
