What Do The Professional Movie Makers Use To Keep Their Cameras From Shaking When They Walk?

I really want to make a good movie without the normal shakes and bumps of a camera, but I might be following an actor at a fast pace with the camera. I remember hearing the name of the equipment used, but I’ve forgotten :) . Does anyone know what they use?

There are a couple of ways – it depends how far and how fast. It also depends on the surface/floor.
    1) A vehicle works great. Either a pick-up truck with the camera on a tripod… or a minivan with the side door open and the camera pointing out the side.
    2) A wheelchair with someone pushing the wheelchair while someone else holds the camera – usually with a shoulder-mount system. The floor needs to be pretty smooth.
    3) A dolly-track system. The dolly rides on the track rails. Any bumps in the floor will be leveled by the track system.
    4) A hand truck with inflatable wheels – and the wheels are not fully inflated to ride out little bumps.
    5) A camera crane. Need lots of room.
    6) A SteadyCam – GlideCam – VariCam system – can be handheld only or a vest with a counter-balanced and articulated arm…
It depends on your budget and the shot requirements…

I saw this thing on like disne ( I was bored ) and they did this behind hte scenes thing
I dont think you could afford on they use this thing called still cam and its on the floor and you can like run with it and walk with it but its prob really expensive and i dont think you could buy one
I know a tripod wouldn’t work because a movie with only one angle looks stupid so it doesn’t look to shaky idk what you could really do but but try hold it still
    sorryyyy :)
    Hope I helped

They use a steadicam. They can range from $30- $2000. Just ebay it, some are cheap and work just fine. (:
