Try downloading it to a portable external hard drive or something. If you don’t have one, try sites like http://www.sendspace.com and http://www.yousendit.com . These sites allow you to upload things and then use the link later to download it again to a different computer, all you need it an internet connection. Hope this helps!
He can set up an FTP site on his PC or he can split the movie to RAR files and upload them to a free file share site that you can download them from.
