If your talking about “Windows” Movie Maker:
    Open the file.
    Click file.
Instead of Save As or Save, Click Save Project.
    Save to your hard drive.
    Hope I helped.

its easy all you have to do is change it to the format windows media video (wmv) so then you click save to my computer and type in name you want for it and pick a category where you want it save to then click next and there should be a green dot where it says best quality for playback on my computer then atthe bottom insetting detail it should say wmv and wmv is the file you want to save it with then when its finished saving then you goto youtube and click upload and follow the steps and if you option does not say wmv then you click the show more choices and click the one that says best quality for playback on my computer recommended hope this helps and good luck

youtube automatically converts uploaded videos just make sure it’s shorter than ten minutes and no larger than 100mb. windos movie maker should save in .wmv wich is youtube compatible but if not you can download a free video converters online (try for one that converts to .avi) anywho just save your video in moviemaker and then see how big/long it is. then go to your youtube channel and upload it.

Go to Windows movie maker, open your project, and then you need to click step 3 on the left “finish your movie” click “save to my computer” and then it will be in windows media format, which you can then upload to youtube

The project file has a suffix of .mswmm. To render it into a .wmv (which You Tube wants), simply “Save to My Computer”. Just that simple. If you click Tasks, you will see the command on the left side of your screen.
    -MM

Go to file, and then click publish, and it should export it as a “.wmv” file. From there you can upload it to youtube
