In the Insert Movie dialog box browse to the clip you need to insert and double click it, and then in the message box, click When Clicked. Then re-size the clip. Play the video/movie in normal view, on the Options contextual tab, in the Play group click the Preview button. Open the movie dialog box by clicking slide overview pane, and then in the placeholder, click the Insert Media Clip button.
