WHAT in the world is that movie where like 4 people from New York go into the Amazon and meet up with this crazy tribe of cannibals? I remember there was some chick getting raped/crucified on some giant pole or something? They really kill animals in the movie and it’s totally insane. Help please!

    I believe you are thinking of Cannibal Holocaust… craziest movie ever. And um yeah animals were killed during this movie and people actually thought the cast was killed since it was in their contracts not to do any publicity for a year after the movie. So everyone thought they were really dead.
    I would say to definitely rent/buy this movie. You’ll appreciate it.

    Ruggerio Deodato’s CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST. It’s been said that the idea for THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT was completely ripped off from this movie, because of how the “footage” shot by the four explorers who went into the Amazon was the only thing that was found when people were sent to find them.
    What made it controversial was not the faked ‘death’ scenes of the actors, but the deaths of several animals in the film, which really were killed as the cameras rolled.
