I mean, it was scarily similar. It demonstrated the origins of a civilization, but also how our views of origin clash and cause conflict. I would say the Na'vi in avatar are living in perfect harmony and balance within their world and if we can input that into our own systems we would benefit greatly from it. I think human beings across the world are living in similar ways to the Na'vi even to this day, these tribes are rare and dying out, which is kind of what happened in the film, if the humans won in the movie then the Na'vi would have died out, or evolved into god knows what, they would probably have just built casinos where the tree used to be. I guess my point is, the majority of human beings are greedy, selfish and lost in a sea of hated.
